As our name Tri-UMPH – being an acronym for “Triennially United to Make Poverty History” –suggests, our purpose for the event is to support the universal efforts to make poverty history.
In 2008, 2011 and 2014 we hosted the Tri-UMPH Musical Festival's, where many popular bands and DJ's from all over Australia played to over 5,500 students and staff. We've collectively raised just in excess of $150,000 from the past three festivals. The festival has been heavily publicised in the region and was plugged on national news stations.
On September 8th, 2017, we are back bigger than ever. Playing host to over 6,000 young students from Geelong Catholic colleges; Clonard College, Sacred Heart College, St Ignatius College and St Josephs College . Hosted by Clonard College in Herne Hill, we will be graced by some of Australia's biggest and best acts across 3 massive stages.
